Lead Rotary Driller

Location: Head Office & Yard based in the North East but travel to project sites required across the UK

About Us

GeoDrill Ltd are renowned experts in Geothermal Drilling and Site Investigations, delivering high-quality services across the UK. We are expanding and are looking for experienced Lead Drillers (or full drill crews) to operate one of our Commacchio drill rigs on high-impact geothermal projects. 

Key Reponsibilities

• Operate and assist with Comacchio drilling rigs
• Drill and install geothermal loops
• Flow and pressure testing of geothermal systems
• Operate and use high-flow mud pumps and mud cleaner systems
• Loading and unloading wagons as required
• Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Follow strict health and safety procedures on site

Requirements

• Proven experience in geothermal drilling & installation
• NVQ Level 2 Lead Driller qualification (essential)
• Full UK driving licence
• Based within the UK
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Telehandler licence (advantage but not essential)
• Reliable, hardworking and a strong team player
