Assistant Driller

Location: Head Office & Yard based in the North East but travel to project sites required across the UK

GeoDrill Ltd are renowned experts in Geothermal Drilling and Site Investigation, delivered high-quality services across the UK. We are expanding and looking for hard working Assistant Drillers to help operate one of our Comacchio drill rigs on high-impact geothermal projects. This is a full-time position. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with drilling rigs and equipment set up
• Flow and pressure testing of geothermal loops
• Loading and unloading wagons (telehandler use where applicable)
• Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Following strict health and safety procedures on site

Requirements

• Telehandler Licence (Preferred, but not essential)
• At least 1 year previous rotary drilling experience
• Reliable, hard working and eagar to learn
• Team player with good communication skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK (essential)
